1. Introduction

Cutting Edge reserves the right to terminate this Agreement due to legal requirements or your breach of any provision. Termination will be immediate, revoking your right to use the Website or purchase products. Sections 4, 6, and 16 – 26 shall survive termination.

5. Updates to this Agreement

Cutting Edge reserves the right to amend this Agreement at its discretion. It is your responsibility to monitor the Website for changes to this Agreement. We may offer upgrades, updates, and improvements to the Website or modify Services or Products as needed.

6. Prohibited Uses

(a) The Website and products should only be used for legal purposes (“Purpose”).

(b) You agree not to use the Website or products: (i) to harass, intimidate, or threaten any person, (ii) for illegal, libelous, obscene, or pornographic purposes, or (iii) in violation of any laws, rules, or regulations.
(c) You shall not copy, modify, create derivative works of, or reverse engineer any components or content of the Website, products, or intellectual property owned by Cutting Edge.

You must be at least 18 years old to order any of our products. Some products may have age restrictions, and it is your responsibility to comply with federal, state, and local laws regarding the purchase, ownership, and use of our products.

8. Automatic Knife Laws & Assisted Knife Laws

(a) The Switchblade Act, enacted on August 12, 1958, and codified in 15 U.S.C. § 1241–1245, restricts the interstate shipment of automatic knives, with specific exemptions for:

(i) Civilian or Armed Forces federal employees and officers procuring such knives for government activities.
(ii) National Guard, Air National Guard, or state militia supply or procurement officers.
(iii) Municipal government employees or State/Territory employees.
(iv) Manufacturers or authorized dealers shipping knives to the aforementioned entities.

(b) Exceptions to Sections 1242 and 1243 of the Act include:

(i) Common or contract carriers shipping switchblade knives in interstate commerce.
(ii) Manufacturing, sale, transportation, or distribution of switchblade knives under Armed Forces contracts.
(iii) Possession of a switchblade knife with a blade length of three inches or less by an individual with one arm.
(iv) Knives designed with a spring or mechanism requiring manual exertion to assist in opening.

(c) Cutting Edge EDC, LLC will not sell outside the state without adherence to these conditions. This exemption doesn’t apply to automatic knives within the state. Proper identification might be necessary for orders involving restricted items.

Cutting Edge does not offer legal advice regarding laws applicable to your purchase of products. It is your responsibility, not Cutting Edge’s, to comply with all applicable international, federal, state, and local laws regarding your purchase and use of our products.

11. Payment

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. By using a credit card for payment, you authorize its use and agree to handle billing disputes directly with Cutting Edge.

12. Shipping – Domestic Orders

(b) We make reasonable efforts to adhere to specified shipping time frames, but delays may occur due to various reasons beyond our control.
(c) Orders meeting specific value thresholds may be subject to different shipping requirements, and shipping costs are subject to change without notice.
(d) Please note: Certain items may be restricted in certain areas within the United States. Exceptions may apply based on local laws.

13. Knife Operation and Warranty

All brand-name knives are covered under warranty by their respective manufacturers. Modified or converted knives are not covered under manufacturer warranties. No further warranties apply unless expressly stated herein.

14. Returns

Initiate returns within 90 calendar days of the original purchase date. Approval is required before shipping return items. Abuse of the return program may result in suspension of your account.

15. Representations and Warranties

By placing an order, you warrant the lawful use of the products and affirm that you are of legal age to purchase and use them.

16. Law Enforcement

We monitor usage on the Website and purchases and may share relevant information with law enforcement agencies or officials in accordance with this Agreement and the Privacy Policy.

17. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Cutting Edge and its affiliates from all claims arising from unauthorized use or breach of this Agreement.

18. Disclaimer of Warranties

19. Limitations of Liability

We shall not be liable for certain damages, and our total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by you under this Agreement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

21. Independent Parties

25. Assignment
